And, actually, I do celebrate Christmas with my grandparents c:
OTHER PEOPLE SHOULD DO THIS SO I CAN SPREAD HOLIDAY CHEER~
THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA.

** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!

STEP TWO

** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

NOW LET'S SEE IT!

1. I wish for an RV so I can drive to the West coast, pick up a few friends along the way, and kayak to Japan to see the One Piece movie -shot-
Well, that won't happen, I'm sure, but I'd absolutely love the STRONG WORLD P.O.P. figures. Especially Luffy and Zoro.

2. A job so I can afford to get myself nice things |D

3. Plushies of my onigiri-self. A friend or two said they'd make me one, but...I kinda like the idea of an army xD Plus, custom things make me swell up with joy, and I feel so loved

4. One of those fancy e-reader/Amazon Kindle book things. I go through so many books, I could probably save a forest |D

5. To actually meet some of my online-only friends It makes me sad 'cause I have some awesome friends I've never met before D:

6. One Piece. Anything One Piece. A picture. A fanfic. A previously mentioned STRONG WORLD P.O.P. figure. I don't care. I'm such a whore for One Piece, if you haven't noticed by now

7. A card. Like a Christmas/Hanukkah/holiday card. Hell, even a postcard. Or a playing card, if you feel like it *coughcoughaceofspadescough* Again with the whole feeling loved thing xD (is it sad I had to spell-check Hanukkah?)

8. To finally go back to school. I graduated on '08 with plans on working to get enough money to go to school. The only job I got was at a silly amusement park for four months, and when I wasn't working I was doing easy chores around the house, and just sitting around in general. I'm tired of it. I need to get out of here and do something with my life.

9. Clothes. Haha. Really, it's kinda sad 'cause I can wash all my clothes in a single load. I don't go clothes shopping as often as I should, and sometimes it's hard for me to find stuff that fits. But clothes are great. I have a soft spot for oversized hoodies xD

10. Besides duct tape, the only other thing I ask is that someone makes a list like this I know that if anyone did anything for me on this list, I'd be as happy as a duck in a pond full of awesome. So I'm hoping that I can do something for someone
